The Whole Health Experience

In the medical world there are competing ideas as to how you treat patients. Some doctors look at your body as just a simple machine. If you are exhibiting symptoms, standard practice in most clinics goes something like this: patients are given a diagnosis and treatments are confined within the diagnosis. Factors such as: the body's biomechanics, stress, diet, mental health, pre-existing/competing conditions, and the daily habits one may have are all ignored as being outside the "scope" of the diagnosis. This limits the potential for recovery and health.

At Whole Health we approach the situation differently. What we've been trained to do is to look at "problems" from numerous angles, to take all the factors that make up a person's state of heath into consideration and work from there with the whole person.

What you can expect as patient of Whole Health is simple:

  • your voice will be heard
  • you will be treated with the respect and care you deserve
  • realistic treatment goals will be set, and achieved
  • that the objective of the treatments will not only be to take care of the symptoms, but also to prevent them from recurring
  • that you will learn how to play an active role in your treatment
